Abraham Wornovitzky is a multifaceted professional with expertise in Culinary Arts, Communications, Arrangement/Layout, Design, and Visual Arts, driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and creativity. His career has spanned diverse yet interconnected realms, showcasing his versatility and passion for innovation.
After obtaining his degree in communications and specializing in advertising, as well as working in this field honing his skills in strategic planning, consumer insights, marketing consulting, and market research he decided to take his passion for food to the next level.
His culinary odyssey took him to one of Canada's premier culinary programs, culminating in the attainment of his Red Seal Certification. He has fine-tuned his culinary craft in a multitude of diverse kitchens and cooking experiences, eve sharing his expertise as an instructor. He even had the privilege of training under the esteemed Dolores Custer, a trailblazer in Food Styling.
For over 14 years, Abraham has lent his artistry to the world of food (and prop) styling, with a marketing and consumer knowledge edge, both in editorial and commercial domains, encompassing both videos and stills.
His journey in Culinary Arts has led him down a path where he has excelled not only as a food (and prop) stylist, but as an accomplished chef, content producer, meticulous recipe developer/tester, instructor, food blogger (www.onmytabletoday.com), and even dabbled in food photography. He even opened EyeCandyTO, an image consultancy shop for the food industry, providing original images of food and/or beverages for commercial applications. Abe has worked for clients such as Castello & TreStelle Cheeses, Pusateri's, Nestle Chocolates, The Silver Platter Cookbooks, Kii/Reeko, Bell Media, Jackman, One Method, Haagen-Dazs, The Gladstone Hotel, Belmont Raw, etc.
His path has also led him to the role of Culinary Producer on major Food Network shows after he appeared on Chopped Canada season 2 and worked on big shows like Master Chef Canada, Top Chef Canada, The Big Bake, Chocolate Showdown, Fire Masters, and Bake It Possible.
Abe's true passion thrives in industries and roles where he can seamlessly blend his culinary prowess, communication acumen, layout expertise, consumer insights, and his devotion to the visual arts.
